Why Can’t we say, “Lets change india”?

I have been supporting the movement of anti corruption right from the beginning.I have also developed the website nocorruption.in to help people reach their local MPs.

Recently, i stumpled upon an organisation adrindia.org , Which have been doing a tremendous job of collecting affidavits of all the MPs & MLAs before elections and publishes the data to public in a matter of few days. Its really disappointing to see that we have about 161 MPs with criminal cases and about 3 of them in Tihar Jail.

We have been blaming the political parties for the problem But i have a few thoughts to share.

Please dont freak out , But consider rethink about following points.

Problem in views about Democracy :

  • When someone asked Annaji (anna hazare) , that why cant you come into politics, he said , “i don’t want to go into the BOG”. This clearly shows what we have in mind about politics.
  • Currently , We have many corrupt political parties ruling. They spend a lot and grab a lot of money once they win. But Does that mean we should completely think that politics is not for common people and ignore the very foundation of democracy?
  • By watching Bollywood movies, most of us have developed a mentality that some great politician will come and lead us all for great change.Forgetting the power of we the common people.
  • Even if some individual want to change their area and goes up for politics independently,he has to prepare and think everything on his own for elections. So, its obvious that with on his own a single person can do nothing.
Thoughts for Solution and Request to think about it :
  • We have been able to reach moon, and we still think we cant reach our villages. We have about 4 scientists out of 10 in NASA.We have Indians managing big international corporations.
  • So, we can get such top brains of India to come together to discuss and plan for complete training program on,how to run true people’s democracy & create teams of youth in each constituency.
  • From financial arrangements to campaign arrangements, everything will be planned and the message is spread in the youth,as the power will be given to public of the youth teams will remain independent or this can also be discussed.
  • With 25% of people in age range 20-40 , that’s one fourth of our country youth can really change the face ,unless we believe and quickly take action.
  • All other problems can be discussed and a brilliant plan for new India can be drawn.

Currently , India Against Corruption is working so hard for janlokpal bill. But we have almost all of the corrupt and unchangeable politicians. We will be crushed like Baba ramdev if we go for fast again. We may even face a state of emergency.
Being in a democratic country, dont you think youth getting together for election is the best way we can achieve our goal of a great nation?
